Job Announcement: Experienced Employment Litigator

Baltodano & Baltodano LLP is hiring.  We seek a sophisticated and experienced employment law litigator with a passion for social justice and a desire to make a big impression in a small town that’s been called “The Happiest Place in America.”

Requirements:

7-10 continuous years complex civil employment litigation experience, including class actions;

Significant experience in structuring discovery plans, taking and defending depositions, managing document intensive cases, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions;

Exceptional organization, legal research, writing, oral communication, and analytical skills;

Superb law and motion skills;

Ability to independently manage a portfolio of cases;

Federal court litigation experience;

Highly motivated, detailed and results-oriented, and passionate about the practice of law;

Membership and good standing with the State Bar of California;

Commitment to employee rights, civil rights, and/or social justice and a stellar work ethic; and

Desire to work full-time from San Luis Obispo with occasional travel (L.A. and Bay Area).

Preferred But Not Required:

Judicial Clerkship, Law Review, and Degree from Top-Tier Law School;

Bilingual English-Spanish written & oral fluency highly desired;

Trial and/or “Big Law” experience.
